POSITION TITLE: Director of Sales

REPORTS TO: Vice President

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Assertive leadership and precise decision making
  • Deliver solid customer care and drive the Sales Team to do the same
  • Manage, mentor, and motivate an 8-10 person team (Account Managers and Inside Sales)
  • Manage and grow existing accounts
  • Use experience to prospect and develop new business
  • Lead the team in embracing aftermarket potential
  • Grow profitability and market share through new business developments, contract renewals and exceeding goals
  • Lead and participate in the full life cycle of sales, including but not limited to prospecting, pricing, lead generating, presentations, negotiations, in-person client meetings, proposal writing, relationship building, closing and account management.
  • Ensure Sales Team members are on track and understand current company goals and initiatives
  • Maintain accurate customer/job information in company software
  • Proactively assess customer and industry trends to identify opportunities to innovate and introduce next level solutions

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 8 years experience in sales and management
  • Strong, assertive leadership and precise decision making
  • Experience in construction/mechanical industry preferred
  • Experience with CRM’s and CRM implementation
  • Valid Driver’s License required
  • High energy level and strong business ethics required
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • General computer skills
